I am working on Ubuntu 12.04, and the Arduino IDE's version is 1.0. Then I paid attention that the LED 13 is always ON on my board. It happens on two of my Arduinos (A Arduino Uno and an Arduino Pro connected with FTDI). Also pressing and releasing the reset button on the Pro Mini doesn't seem to work either.
